Service:
Our house hosts three commmunity service days a semester. Past beneficiaries of our service days include: Flinthills Breadbasket,Adopt-a-Highway Program, Kansas Forestry Service, Kansas State, and local Churches.
This school year we helped package food for Haiti with University Christian Church, helped remodel an office building for K-State Entrepreneur, helped clean up Tuttle Creek, enjoyed playing games with retirees at MeadowLark Hills Assisted Living, and helped clean up Manhattan Arts Center.
We also participate in other Greek houses’ philanthropy events. Some of these include: Sunset Revival Benefit Concert, Mudbowl, Dodgeball Tournaments, and many more. Our philanthropy is ALS also known as Lou Gehrig ’s disease. Each summer we hold the Barker Memorial Open Golf Tournament to raise money for not only a scholarship in Kyle Barker’s name, but also for ALS. 100 players participated last summer and raised a record $7000.
