Pledgeship:

Phi Delta Theta strongly believes in a period of education before initiation in order to familiarize new members with the Fraternity and college life. This education period lasts approximately one semester. A 2.5 GPA is required before being eligible for initiation. Pledges reside in the pledge dorms that include a common area with couches, tv, desks, closets, and sleeping dorms. We believe pledges build a stronger bond living together than if spread throughout the house. Phi Delta Theta does not condone any form of hazing. It is contrary to the purpose Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and the commitment of brotherhood. All members of our house perform house chores and everyone participates in our designated driver program (not just pledges).
