President and CEO of Flink Hills Resources, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc.

Brad is president and chief executive officer of Flint Hills Resources, LLC. The company, based in Wichita, Kan., has expanded its operations through capital projects and acquisitions worth more than $7 billion since 2002. With about 4,000 employees, Flint Hills Resources strives to create value for customers and society.

Flint Hills Resources, LLC, through its subsidiaries, is a leading refining, chemicals and biofuels company. It markets products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol, biodiesel, olefins, polymers, and intermediate chemicals, as well as base oils and asphalt. It owns and operates refineries in Alaska, Minnesota and Texas, a biodiesel plant in Texas and ethanol plants in Iowa and Nebraska. In addition, the company owns and operates fuel and/or asphalt terminals in Alaska, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. The company’s chemicals business includes production facilities in Illinois, Michigan and Texas.

Flint Hills Resources also has investments in strategic common carrier and proprietary pipelines; a 50 percent interest in Excel Paralubes, a base oil production facility in Westlake, La.; and has made equity investments in bioenergy companies.
Brad was executive vice president of supply and marketing prior to being named to his current role in 2005. Previous roles included vice president of northern tier marketing for Koch Petroleum Group, L.P., which was restructured to form Flint Hills Resources and Koch Supply & Trading in 2002. He also served in leadership roles with Koch Materials Company and Koch Oil Co., Ltd. Brad started his career with Koch companies in 1985 with Koch Carbon, Inc., which markets petroleum coke and coal to a variety of industries.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan.
